Unity - PCVR
In this project, I assumed a leadership role where I spearheaded the design of a city street in Singapore, skillfully merging elements of both old and new architecture to create an engaging and functional layout tailored for a VR experience. Drawing inspiration from the real streets of the city, I ensured the scene's authenticity and familiarity, even through the eyes of a local.
As the project lead, I effectively managed a team of artists, providing guidance throughout the asset creation process, and maintained a focus on delivering high-quality, consistent, and performance-efficient results. I took full creative ownership of the endeavor, so I was responsible for establishing a well-structured schedule for the art team, and conducting regular check-ins with each team member to offer constructive feedback and ensure project progress aligned with established timelines, while remaining receptive to feedback throughout the course of the project.
The primary objective of this project was to develop a VR experience centered around climate change and its implications on future outcomes resulting from companies' decisions. To accomplish this, the project includes three distinct scenes - one of these scenes faithfully represents Singapore's present state, while the other two depict contrasting future scenarios, one optimistic and the other undesirable.
